Abstract:

The article considers multiprocessor systems with shared and individual memory. Multiprocessor System (MPS) is a computer system containing multiple processors connected to each other and shared their set of external devices. Model systems with shared memory is quite convenient for programming, because the user does not think about the actual procedures parallelization (they are mostly borne by the compiler) and procedures of interaction of parallel processes (they are produced by the hardware shared memory). MEA performance increases compared to a single-processor system, because the multiprocessor system makes it possible to process multiple tasks and parallel processing of different parts of a problem. This article presents the possibilities of multi-processor systems with shared and individual memory.
