The article describes the impact of oil pollution on the environment and defines methods for dealing with them.

Keywords: oil as a source of environmental pollution; sources of oil pollution of the environment; impact of oil on water; impact of oil pollution on fauna; effect of oil pollution on the flora; oil pollution control measures; protective measures and cleaning works
