Abstract:

Currently difficult to extract oil reserves are widely involved in development, confined to low permeable, weakly drained, heterogeneous and dismembered reservoirs. One of the effective methods to increase the productivity of wells that open such layers and increase the rate of oil recovery from them is hydraulic fracturing of the formation. Hydraulic fracture can be defined as a mechanical method of influencing the productive formation, in which the rock is torn along the planes of minimum strength due to the impact on the formation of the pressure created by injection into the formation fluid. As a result of hydraulic fracturing, the production rate or injectivity of injection wells is multiply increased by lowering the hydraulic resistances in the bottomhole zone and increasing the filtration surface of the well, and the final oil recovery increases due to the introduction of weakly draining zones and interlayers.
